Okay, so it's safe to say that the release of Lloyd Banks' Beamer, Benz, or Bentley has brought an impact to mainstream hip hop music. People are loving the track itself, the vibe, and the fact that this beat brings knock into their speakers when they listen to it. The track overall seems to get majority of people listening to it hyped up. Would you agree?
With that said, I decided to take some of the sounds available at SoundsForBeats.com, and create a remake of the beat in FL Studio 9 from scratch using no samples at all. I don't actually have a video of this instrumental as of yet, but will put up one soon in another blog, so be sure to check back often for the blog entry with the video of the remake. This instrumental took a little while to remake, but I feel confident about the remake I created with the sounds I chose. It won't sound exactly the same, after all, no remake will. However, I let a few people hear this one before adding it to this blog, and they were convinced that it sounded very close to the original and was a really well done remake. Do you think so? You be the judge and tell me what you think on the comments. The mp3 is below:
This beat was created from scratch with sounds available at the SoundsForBeats.com store. The sounds used to recreate this beat are as follows:
DRUM SOUNDS FROM DRUM KITS: Kick Drums (GenK Kick 14) from the KingStrike Drums Hi Hats (GenK Hat 05 and GenK Hat 16) from the KingStrike Drums Crash cymbal (GenD Crash 01) from the Diamond Razor Drums Snare Drum (GenF Snare 12) from the FireStorm Drums
The above sounds were used to recreate the Beamer, Benz, or Bentley instrumental remake. However, keep in mind that the sounds used above were also tweaked within the composition of this instrumental, as you'll see more of in an entry soon to come. Be sure to check back often so you don't miss out! In the meanwhile, feel free to listen to the hip hop beat above, and as mentioned earlier, feel free to drop any comments you can to this entry. You can find more hip hop beats that SoundsForBeats.com sounds helped to influence and create. Hope you enjoy beat remake version. More instrumental remakes to come soon...
