Twitter

Who says having a Twitter account isn't really a benefit?  Having a Twitter account measures greatly in a variety of different ways!  It all depends on how you use it, and the work you put into utilizing it to be a greater tool than you would've thought.  In the end, you could have the greatest tools, but if you're not using them right, it doesn't matter!  I tell people this all the time in terms of hip hop beats, and how some people wish they had an MPC or other type of beat machine because they feel that the computer doesn't generate anything great!  Tell that to the hundreds of kats online making hot beats on their PC!  So how does a Twitter account benefit?

There are a few ways that I can mention that a Twitter account is great to use!  First of all, creating a following is key!  Finding ways to build followers is great, because it makes Twitter that much better once you do!  You can use the search engine on Twitter to look for keywords to find people that may relate to you or what you do, and follow them.  Chances are, they may follow you in return.  There are also various pages out there, like Twitter Karma, that you can find!  Building more followers is great, because it simply means that when you post more and more messages, there are more and more people that it's going to.  Twitter can also serve as a great advertising live tool, as you can simply send a message on occasion with a decent ad and your link, and if you have a large following, chances are that some people will flock to the ad you post up.  You may not draw everyone, but even if you draw in 10% of a 500 following list... that's 50 people you've now influenced with your ad and a link!
