I had to think a minute before I put this one up as to which weapon of choice I personally had as well... I mean, I'm sure most of us as beatmakers, or producers, or composers of instrumental music have a weapon of choice... a "go to instrument" if you will. While we all dabble in using all kinds of instrument sounds in our hip hop beats, r&b instrumentals, ambient soundscapes, or movie scores, there tends to be a "go to" that we all have. Some people who constantly create R&B instrumentals may go more towards a piano sound as their instrument, while others may go towards strings. Bottom line is, we all tend to have that musical weapon of choice. So what's yours? I know personally, I can probably say I'm a bit more partial to the lush sounds of a piano. Piano instrument sounds usually tend to shape a good amount of my instrumentals, whether the piano is the main focal point of the musical piece, or if it helps to be a secondary instrument to help compliment the primary instrument. At any rate, there tends to be a "go to" instrument that's often chosen when creating music instrumentals. That said, I'm curious to find out what your music choice may be? Feel free to add your input to this question simply by clicking on the link below and clicking on the poll. Your thoughts help to shape SoundsForBeats.com into an even greater site for beat makers, music producers, and other musicians creating instrumentals worldwide!
